Need to Drop-off Early? Mileage Club starts 7:40am!

Did you know students are not allowed on campus unattended before 8:05 AM?

The perfect solution is to register for Guadalupe's Mileage Club. Starting on the first day Wednesday 8/13 and every school day after that, a parent volunteer will monitor student runners on the upper track while they do laps. It's an excellent way for your student to start the day, and parents can get on the road to work earlier! Students earn prizes for milestones they meet. There is no Mileage Club when it is raining. All students must be pre-registered.

VISITING & VOLUNTEERING ON CAMPUS

FIRST TIME VISITORS & VOLUNTEERS:

If you are volunteering on campus for the FIRST TIME, be sure to
bring your ID and stop by the front office to be set up on the RAPTOR system

(If you already are registered on RAPTOR, you do not need to re-register.)

ALWAYS CHECK-IN

All volunteers must check in at the front office before entering campus during school hours and wear your visitor badge.

GUADALUPE TRAFFIC SAFETY

The first day of school is coming up quickly along with the return of drop off and pick up traffic around Guadalupe. All parents and other adult family members who will pick up and drop off students should familiarize themselves with Guadalupe Traffic guidelines on GHSC.NET/TRAFFIC/.

The Traffic Safety team also needs volunteers to help kick off the school year safely. Morning and afternoon shifts are open!

IMPORTANT TRAFFIC REMINDERS

As we return to campus, here are a few important reminders for adults dropping off students in the morning.

  • DROP-OFF TIME: Students should be dropped off between 8:05 AM-8:15 AM
  • WALK YOUR KINDER/TK TO CLASS: All Kinder & TK parents must drop off and pick up at the Kinder Gate or classroom door. Please park your car and walk onto campus. Older siblings are allowed to walk Kinder to and from class.
  • RED ZONES = NO STOPPING & NO PARKING: Painted red curbs are now marked with NO PARKING and STOPPING signs. Please do not use these areas to drop off or pick up students. THIS INCLUDES KINDER & TK.
  • WHITE ZONE = NO PARKING : The white zones along Coleman Drive are for loading only. Exiting your car and leaving it parked during pickup and drop-off times is illegal. If you need to exit your car, please park along an unmarked or green-painted curb. If no parking is available, please find parking in the neighborhood.
  • SIDE PARKING LOT- STAFF ONLY:  Please do not use the side staff lot during drop-off and pick-up times.
  • LATE ARRIVAL: If you are pulling up to Guadalupe at 8:15 AM, your student is late and will be asked by their teacher to get a LATE SLIP at the office. If you arrive at school at 8:15 AM or later, please drop off your student in the front parking lot, and tell them to go to the office to get a late slip.
  • COLEMEN GATE WILL BE CLOSED AT 8:15 AM: If you arrive late, please drive to the front of the school for drop-off. There is no traffic around 8:15 AM along VERA CRUZ.
