5th Grade is impressed with all the donations made to the TRACK RESURFACE FUND. We are getting very close to our goal of $20K to resurface the track.

Thanks to the generous parents and the fun auction games at the Spring Fling Dinner we are even closer to hitting our goal. We are now just a thousand dollars away from meeting our goal.

If you attend the Guadalupe Carnival this Friday, you can make a donation in person at the 5th Grade Fishing Booth. With your donation your student will get to go fishing for a thank you gift. There is still time to donate to the fund, and plenty of time to submit your donation towards COMPANY MATCHING. Donate today, and help the track get resurfaced over the summer.

Mismatch Day is all about wearing things that don't go together. Socks are the easiest thing to mix up! Have fun combining things to wear.

Got Medication? Our health clerk, Ms. Racquel, reminds us that all medication, including over-the-counter, needs to be submitted to the office and not held in student backpacks. Volunteer Appreciation 5/31

The Guadalupe Staff and the GHSC Board will host their Annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, May 31, starting at 7:45 AM in the Guadalupe Makerspace (located behind the school library.)

If you have been generous with your time this year in the classroom or outside of the classroom, THANK YOU! Please expect to receive an email invitation to this event. The Staff and Board Members would love to thank you in person and host a lovely breakfast catered by the staff members of Guadalupe Elementary in honor of YOU!

OPEN HOUSE & STEM NIGHT 5/22

Guadalupe's classrooms will be open on Wednesday, May 22nd, from 6-7PM to showcase students' classwork and projects completed during the school year. It's also a great opportunity for the lower grades to tour next year's classrooms. The Union School District will also showcase STEM activities in the Makespace and other places on the campus.

SPIRIT WEEK 5/28 - 5/31

SPRING BOOK FAIR 5/21-23

GHSC has invited Literati Book Fairs to the Guadalupe Campus for a Spring Book Fair. It's been five years since we last hosted them. Since the library has closed for the school year, this is a perfect opportunity for your student to stock up on books to read during the summer!

When you purchase books at the Book Fair, a % of your sale is a donation to the Guadalupe Library. Look out for the kick-off email on 5/13 about setting up Digital Gift Cards. More info available at GHSC.NET/BOOKFAIR.

Last Week of Library 4/29-5/3

Ms. Jocelyn will start closing up the Guadalupe Library next week. This week (4/29-5/3) is the last week students can check out books. Starting next week students will be asked to return all checked out library books. Ms. Jocelyn will be delivering outstanding book slips to students starting next week. We have several students with books checked out since October. Please remind your student to look for overdue books at home and put them into their backpacks as soon as they find it. Parents can find information about paying for lost library books on GHSC.NET/LIBRARY.

Reminder: Student’s with outstanding library books and a yearbook ordered. The yearbook will be held by the librarian until the book is returned or fee paid to replace it.
