IMPORTANT ITEMS FROM MRS. HAMCHUK

  1. Got Medication??  Our health clerk, Ms. Raquel, reminds us that all medication, including over-the-counter, needs to be submitted to the office and not held in student backpacks. Students may not store their cough medicine, inhalers, or pills in their backpacks.  Please email Racquel for more information- sidhur@unionsd.org
  2. '24-'25 TK/K Registration is open!  Please spread the word that enrollment for the next school year has begun.  https://www.unionsd.org/families/enroll-in-usd
  3. Registration:  If your children are already in the district, you do not need to re-enroll (if Guadalupe is not your home school, you will need to reapply to attend Guadalupe next year).
  4. Intent to Return:  All families need to submit their intent to return for the '24-'25 school year.  Be on the lookout for Union School District's Intent to Return email soon.
  5. USD's Perception Survey:  This survey helps guide many district/site decisions. Please complete the survey and print a screenshot of the completion page so that your child can exchange it in the office for a ROARS card! [Very important Survey link here
  6. Sending Students to School with Medicine: The school nurse is getting reports of students being sent to school with allergy and pain relief medications. All medications, whether over-the-counter or prescription, must be given to the school nurse. Students cannot keep medications in backpacks, in the classroom, or on their own while on campus. We understand allergies are rampant this time of year, but you must contact the school nurse about having medications on campus. If you have questions about this policy, please get in touch with the school nurse. Mrs. Racquel <sidhur@unionsd.org>.

If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Hamchuk <hamchukj@unionsd.org>
