WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS!!

Parent photos make up the Guadalupe Yearbook, and we need your photos. We are aware Shutterfly is talking about ending the life of Shutterfly Share Sites, and GHSC is working to find an alternative solution for the future.

We are still asking parents to share their photos via email. If you have a few photos, please send them (1-5 photos) to yearbook.ghsc@gmail.com

Do you have more than five photos? Please head to http://ghsc.net/photos/ and find the perfect GOOGLE DRIVE FOLDER for your photos.

PLEASE NOTE, EACH PHOTO SHOULD ONLY UPLOADED ONCE.

Fall Reading, Book Walk, Volunteers Galore - students and parents alike! What a celebration of synergy.

Everyone made the BookFest and Winterfest a fantastic experience!

Also kudos to our volunteers for their precious time, the teachers and staff for helping out. Finally a Big Shout out to Brian HK and Sarah Mettler for guiding and helping through the book fest and book fair. Thank You!

  4. Parents on Campus: Parents may pick students up on campus, but we ask that you not wait outside your student's classroom door. Doors have to be left open, and students don't need the added distraction.

We have some important dates coming up in the month of January. Below is this month's dates, a complete list of dates can be found on GHSC.NET/CALENDAR

TRAFFIC UPDATE - NO PARKING ZONES

With the return to campus after the holiday break, we are seeing an increasing number of parents parking along the listed drop-off and pick-up zones:

  • VERA CRUZ TRACK CURB: Signs are posted about the drop-off and pick-up zone along the Guadalupe track fence area on Vera Cruz Drive. No parking between drop-off (7:55 AM-8:20 AM) and pick-up (1-3 PM).
  • COLEMAN WHITE CURB: The white curb on Coleman, by law, is a loading zone, and the driver needs to remain in the car. If you need to walk onto campus during drop-off or pick-up, please find another parking spot (that is not painted white or red). Otherwise, please remain in your car until either your student exits or enters your car.
  • RED CURBS, DRIVEWAYS, and CROSSWALKS: Reminder parking in these areas are dangerous and against the law. Please do not block crosswalks or driveways. Many red zones around Guadalupe are blind spots; please do not stop or park along red curbs.

Shutterfly Sites Future

Parents received an email from Shutterfly announcing significant changes to their products. GHSC was expecting these changes, and we are currently working on a solution. First, we've been aware of the "End of Life" talk about the Shutterfly Share Site product used for Guadalupes SHARE SITES.

GHSC is exploring alternatives to Share Sites, and we hope to have news on this issue in the GHSC March Newsletter! The Yearbook team shared the above information and worked on a temporary solution to share photos on the Google Drive network to share photos. More information can be found on GHSC.NET/YEARBOOK.
