Dear Guadalupe Grizzly Community,

November is a month of gratitude. Thank YOU, parent community, for stepping in to support our Grizzly needs through the Walkathon.

LOST & FOUND IS FULL

The Lost & FoundRack at Guadalupe is busting at the seams. Students are leaving so much on the playground and lunch tables. We are seeing 4-5 jackets/coats being added to the rack daily. Please remind your students to check the rack during lunch time, or parents can check the rack themselves at the end of the school day.

DON'T FORGET; all the items will be pulled off the rack during the HOLIDAY BREAK, on 12/16 and donated to Savers. We clear the rack three times a year.

TRAFFIC TOP 4 PROBLEMS

The Guadalupe Traffic Safety Team has seen three significant problems during DROP-OFF and PICK-UP times. We are heading in wet weather season, which means more parents are driving. PLEASE HELP US!!

  • ALL STUDENT USE CROSSWALKS: Parents when walking with your student, DO NOT JAYWALK. You must always use the crosswalk with your student.
  • STOP AT STOP SIGNS: Please be sure to stop at the Stop Sign at Vera Cruz & Puerto Vallarta. DO NOT ROLL/DRIVE THROUGHT THE STOP. We see many cars rolling or driving through stop the sign every day.
  • NO PARKING IN WHITE ZONE ON COLEMAN: The Safety Team sees daily parents parking in the WHITE ZONE downstairs by the Extended Care Gate. White zones are for pickup and drop-off during school hours. Do NOT exit your car while stopped along the white-painted curb.
  • NEIGHBOR DRIVEWAYS: Parents, please be respectful of our Guadalupe neighbors. Do NOT park in front of neighbor driveways or use driveways to make U-turns avoid dropping off students or parking in front of neighbor driveways & using driveways to make U-turns.
