The District ReOpening Survey: The survey sent out to all families in the Union District must be filled out for each district student. Right now, Guadalupe is running at 63% want to return to the campus. Please be sure to complete the survey if you have not already. The survey is NON-BINDING; families can change their minds about in-person instruction at a later time.
Teachers Going Back: Teachers from each grade level, and each school have been working with the district on deciding the best schedule option for in-person instruction. The district has been meeting one on one with the teachers to address concerns about going back for in-person instruction.
Cleaning Classroom Concerns: The county has relaxed cleaning the playground from 2-3 times a day to twice a week, although the county says only once a week is ok. Mr. Jones said they would go twice a week. The classroom cleaning is of great concern, especially with A/B & A/B Day Week Schedule.
Schedule for ReOpening: The district was planning to have a decision on a schedule by Friday 10/31. The plan is to present the schedule to parents at the next district board meeting on Mon. 11/16.
Parenting Class: The district is hosting three 1-hour sessions, which starts this Thur. 11/5 on the topic of "Parenting the Love and Logic Way". Here is the link for class zoom for parents to access. And more info in the image below.
