We are changing the frequency of the Community Meeting from weekly to twice a month. The schedule will be:

First Wednesday of Month @ 8 PM

Fourth Wednesday of Month @ 9 AM

Mr. Jones Parent Survey Update:  Mr. Jones thanks all parents for completing the Guadalupe Parent Survey. He emailed the results out last week, and he found the comments well written and thoughtful. He shared some of the comments in the email as a few in the meeting. 

Student Survey: The student survey received a similar large response from 3rd/4th/5th graders. One of the significant takeaways is the students are missing projects like Art Vistas. Art Vistas will be returning to the classroom, starting the week of 10/26.  There will be six projects this year. We have managed to find a parent for each class to lead the projects. We are still in need of a parent to volunteer for the following classes. 

Baker / Brasher / Conley / DeFazio / Dixon

Hull Strubeck/Landis / Suseov / Victorine / Viviane Ly

Teacher Survey: Mr. Jones is still awaiting approval from the district to send one out. The teachers reported that the Teachers Union did survey the teachers earlier this year. Union District and the Teacher Union have been in conversations all school year.

4th Cohort: The district approved for the school to open up the 4th Cohort on campus. Mr. Jones and the staff are already contacting families. The Cohort will be hopefully back on campus later this week. 

Will School Return?: Parents inquired on the current status of school returning. The district will report about in-person instruction at Monday 10/12 District Board Meeting. For more information on the Board Meeting, CLICK HERE. 

Ceramics: Mr. Jones gave the ceramic team the green light to return to campus to complete last year's projects. No plans have been made yet for this year's ceramic programs. The goal right now is to clear out all the projects from last year. The next update will be in a Guadalupe Newsletter.
