The GHSC Board and Guadalupe Administration want to thank all the families and staff who donated to the Guadalupe Second Harvest Fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, the holidays look a little brighter for so many struggling in Silicon Valley.

Your incredible support helped us collect $5,254 and provide 10,508 MEALS for those in need, supplies for soup kitchens and food pantries around the Bay. Your gift brought hope, happiness, security, and joy this holiday season. Be sure to utilize corporate matching, to double your donation.

Yearbook COVER CONTEST

The Yearbook Cover Contest will be announced Monday 12/7 to the students, this is an excellent opportunity for young artists to showcase their skills or explore drawing and imagination. With distance learning, we are now offering online submissions from now till the deadline 1/10/21. We will also offer physical artwork drop off on the weekend of 1/8-1/10 outside of the school office.

Another new option this year includes having students create their artwork with digital tools like Illustrator, Paint, or other digital drawing apps. Detailed contest information will be provided in next Monday's Morning Announcement and online at GHSC.NET/COVER-ART

EMERGENCY INFORMATION UPDATE: Several Guadalupe families have received an email from the district, requesting them to verify or update their phone numbers/email/emergency contacts via InfoSnap - a link to access your info was sent via email. This is a required update for all families and reminder message will only be suspended when you complete the update. The email subject appears, as shown below.

Spirit Day 12/18: PAJAMA DAY

Mark your students calendar, for Friday 12/18 for the next Guadalupe Spirit Day. PAJAMA DAY, a special day for celebrating the holidays while enjoying the last day before WINTER BREAK. Students are welcome to join their Class Zoom on 12/18 wearing their PJ's. Parents we invite you to take photos of your students all dressed up.

Your photos of your student dressed up for Spirit Day, will play a large part of this year's Guadalupe Yearbook, please either share your photo on your Class Shutterfly Site or send it via email to YEARBOOK.GHSC@GMAIL.COM.

Traffic Safety Volunteers

The Traffic Safety is still in need of parent volunteers to help monitor the Guadalupe Parking Lot driveways. Volunteers can sign up for just one day a week or two.
